Over 11 years of hands-on, successful teaching experience, as a Mathematics Teacher/Head of Mathematics. I teach Maths, Add Maths, IBDP Math AA HL and SL, A level, Further math, CBSE Maths to students. There are three basic statements that mostly describe my philosophy of education. First, education for me is a desire to learn, not a compulsion. The pedagogy of learning should be enjoyable and interesting. Learning should not just occur in school even at home students should be taught about values, and knowledge (or wisdom). Second, education is a life-long learning process, which is indispensable. What students learn in schools is not enough to prepare for practical living. Students should be able to organize, understand, and apply what they learn in order to deal with the complex and diverse questions of their daily life and learn to create “new” knowledge to solve problems they meet when they leave schools. Finally, education is life. Education is like life support. Students need to be educated to become a modern and responsible citizen for the needs of society. In that way, they can use their life experience in their learning. Hence, they need to think critically and solve problems independently.
I love to employ unique teaching strategies to effectively engage all students and foster a fun and fascinating learning environment by using my 4 years of I.T. expertise by creating e-learning content to make classes more fun and enjoyable. I love to encourage and am extremely patient towards students. I provide individualised and extracurricular support for students who are struggling with learning concepts and mathematical topics. I love to quickly develop an excellent rapport with students, staff members, and parents to produce a friendly and supportive community.
